Here is an array of listings of films to mull over, ponder, agree with, or just decide unworthy. They range from each Academy Award winner in 8 major categories, to Movieline's Top 100 foreign films. Don't get depressed if your favourite film didn't make any or all of these listings. These are just personal choices from different groups. Even AMPAS, the Academy of Motion Picutre Arts and Sciences, the ones who select the Oscar winners, only give their personal opinions on what is the best of the best. They are not the rulers of the movie world, they just think they are! How else can you explain why Citizen Kane did not win the Best Picture Oscar in 1941. Lists are meant to be judged, and disagreed with. That is what is fun about it....So Enjoy!!! I even have my own personal opinion on the greats of every year since 1900.
